A bit of an update

Oh, how I really need to get in the habit of keeping up to date! Yup, never gonna happen...
I'm too busy scrapping, making cards, playing in the snow, finger painting, and going out with the girls. Wishing the weather would get nice... you know, those kind of things.
Here is a layout of the picture that almost cost me my marriage in the process of taking the stupid thing. It turned out great, but come on. Do we really need to fight like that??
And a card I made for Jeremy's gma at the last minute today. Hope it'll fly through the mail and arrive on time still...

Oh, how we to ride our horsey! That thing gets the crap beat out of it daily or should I say hourly, but keeps on a truckin! Man, I'd buck her off too, for the crap it takes!
Looks like that wound from the wood pile fight is getting better:)
My little puppy, wearing Maggie's collar. Sportin the zebra print!
Enjoying the outdoors more and more the last few weeks is a must! It's been at least warm enough to hang out for more than 10 minutes and get some fresh air! We get to play with the cows...
Eat some snow...
Maybe even sport my big black bush... hee hee...
Gotta do a little horse back riding in the house. Or maybe it's a monkey pile! (Maggie's under Daddy)
Finger painting is a fun indoor project!
So, the key to happiness this time of the year (when spring fever is at it's worst) is to keep the mind busy! This winter is almost over and we can only wait until we can be outside ALL DAY LONG! Woo hoo! :)

Super cute birdie dish up for grabs

So, I was checking in on Tracy's writers block or lack there of, when I read about this site to check out! She has an amazing little birdie ring dish up for grabs and I hope that I can win it! Check it out at http://4kennedys.blogspot.com/2009/02/its-giveaway-time.html She's announcing the winner on Wed, so you've still got time!

Ella is a BIG GRADUATE!

Ella is a BIG GRADUATE! We went to the orthotist last week and he didn't have much positive to say about Ella growing anymore. He suggested we get a second look and maybe an x-ray to see if her head would do any more correcting. I have taken pictures along the journey and hadn't seen anything happening in over a month. She was definitely starting to get really stuffed in there and wasn't herself. Quite crabby. Daddy went away for the weekend and I thought I'd give it a go, without. Test it out, to see just how she reacted. Wow, a different person!!! So much happier! So when Daddy got home, we had a talk. Deciding to go get an x-ray or letting it go was hard, but the orthotist confirmed what we had already been thinking for a month. So her graduation date was 2.21.09! She wore it for just shy of 4 months. 10.24.08-2.21.09 This is a lot longer than a younger child would have to wear it, but is way over the limit of age they say it will work for. I of course expected it to be perfect when done, but that is not usually possible in a older child. I am mostly happy with the results, but being her mother, obviously wished for more. I will love her no matter what and am so proud of her! She was such a trooper through this whole thing! Congrats Ella!!!

11.4.08~Very flat on the right back and bulging sides. Had a
slight bulge in the forehead too, but went away nicely!

2.22.08~Still a very slight flat spot and slight bulging
on the sides.
