Another year gone...

So the year has already come to an end... where did it go?? Since I have had Ella, life just flies!!! I can not believe she is already 2 1/2!! Wow!!! I have loved every minute of being a mommy and can not wait to see what life is going to throw at me next!
I sooo enjoyed Christmas this year! This was the year that Ella finally enjoys herself too.... I knew she'd love presents from mommy and daddy, but I COULD NOT WAIT until I saw her face Christmas morning! I knew she'd be afraid of Santa, but hopefully in the years to come, she'll get over that:)

Ella got to have Breakfast with Santa this year... she wouldn't sit on his lap, but wanted to hangout by him the whole time;)
This was THEE MOMENT that I was waiting for... I was SO HAPPY to capture this moment... this was Christmas morning!
Here she is in her Christmas dress! I just ♥ this pic!!! I also was blessed to become an auntie this December... although Avrie was born 3 weeks pre-mature. Luckily not enough to be in an incubator or anything, but still had a few problems. Her heart was very high at first, which seemed to go down quite quickly. She still had to have moniters on her for a couple days to watch everything. Also her litl lungs were not developed all the way, so she was basically panting. That then, caused problems with her feeding. I couldn't imagine trying to drink while panting... poor litl peanut! Luckily she only had to live at the hospital for a week and everything went uphill from there!!! She's a cutie!!

Her she is day 1. Here she is about 2 1/2 weeks old with mommy and daddy. {Audra & Aaron} Well, that's about all I have for now.... still trying to get some scrapping in here and there! We already had a snow fall!!! This was early in the morning and another inch or two fell after!
Enough snow fell, that Jeremy and Ella got out and made a snowman! Ella was so proud of that thing! {I won't tell her, but I was a tid bit creeped out by it!}So proud!!

My newest and most favoritist (I know, I know... that's not a word) layout in a long time is featured this month over at http://ifitsgroovy.blogspot.com/ this month! I am super happy how it turned out and plan on framing it and giving it to my Gpa for xmas! I love him so much and am so inspired by him!

Another long over due update!

So once again... I am way behind on keeping this blog up to date. I never was good at diaries...
So my 1st sketch was published on http://ifitsgroovy.blogspot.com/ Head on over there and do a little snooping and look me up!

I have been starting the potty training thing... so that is has devoured my time! It is going well and hoping it stays that way. She is really good at telling me, just hoping the whole poopie thing goes as well as the pee pee thing! I probably wouldn't have started this quite yet, but I came home on Friday to J training her. He says he is sick of changing dirty diapers... huh, how many does a guy that works nights, sleeps all day, and is only with her for 1 1/2 full days change??
Other than living in the bathroom... not much is new. We went to the Pumpkin Patch again this year, so that was fun. I'm off to a scrapbooking retreat this weekend at http://www.memoriesatthedepot.com/index.html I am so happy to get away... I know I'll miss Ella and being home, but it is well needed!

My 1st challenge...

My 1st task as a DT member of http://ifitsgroovy.blogspot.com/ was to make a layout with a "funny face." Well... that's not hard when you have a little one!! lol! So this is what I came up with! Exciting News!!!

Well, it's been a long time since I last updated here... but no better time to do so than to tell you that I've been excepted to be a DT member for If It's Groovy. http://ifitsgroovy.blogspot.com/ I am going to be a sketch artist for their team and could not be more excited!!! I have been 'following' their blog for some time now and thought why follow when I can be a part of it! I love learning new things and can not wait to teach you something new as well! I hope you will become a follower and check in from time to time and see whats new and exciting!

I am SO FAR BEHIND!!! My life has been a busy mess this summer! We bought a camper, Ella turned two, we painted the house, I got excepted as a Design Team Sketch Artist for a blog (more details after the 1st) and the list goes on! Loving every minute of life these days!!
